Attacking midfielder Nia Stamatopoulos became the fourth youngest player in W-League history and the youngest in Club history to make her debut when she was selected to make her first appearance as a 15-year-old in Round 1 of the 2018/19 Westfield W-League season.
Scouted by the National Training Centre (NTC) as a 12-year-old, Stamatopoulos impressed for the NPL side, before earning a place on City's roster.
The youngster possesses an exquisite skill set, showing great strength over the ball. Not only a strong play maker in the heart of midfield, Stamatopoulos also has the ability to find the back of the net from range.
The emerging midfielder represents Australia, becoming a key member of the leadership team for the Junior Matildas, where she has captained the side on multiple occasions.
