Fitzgerald, who has joined City for the remainder of the 2015/16 season, is a two-time Hyundai A-League Championship winner with both the Central Coast Mariners and Brisbane Roar. The attacking midfielder has also represented his country at Young Socceroo and Olyroo level.
Known for his tenacity and speed in attack, the 23-year-old is another versatile player added to van’t Schip’s roster, with the ability to play both in the centre of the park and out wide while also having a nose for goal.
