Biography
Matildas attacking midfielder Tameka Yallop (nee-Butt) joined Melbourne City FC ahead of the 2018/19 season from Norwegian club Klepp IL.
Yallop has made over 100 appearances in the Australian domestic competition since making her debut for Brisbane Roar in 2008. The 27-year-old brings a wealth of experience to the City Football Academy having previously played in America, Japan, Sweden and Germany.
The 2013/14 Julie Dolan Medal winner has an impressive list of accolades, including being named W-League Players Player of the Year for 2012/13. She has also won three W-League premierships with Brisbane and two grand finals as well as accumulated over 70 caps for the Matildas.
